Student
Hey, student! Not sure if and why you want to participate?
At the Career Festival, you'll get practical tips to make yourself visible on the labour market and find exciting challenges. You'll have the chance to find out about internships and thesis topics, and make initial contact with companies of interest.
What can I do?
Have you ever thought that you don't know exactly what you want to do after graduation and you're not quite sure where you see yourself working in the future?
Or if you have a goal in mind, the Career Festival is your chance to find an internship or a job. With all the job and internship opportunities in one place, you'll have the chance to talk to professionals in your field in real time, making connections with a potential future employer.
Plus, you can listen to inspiring talks , that teach you how to plan for the future and avoid burnout .
And if you're still not sure how to get started with your job search and how to make the best CV, there will also be workshops at the festival for everyone to take part in.
Come and take a step towards creating your future!
How to prepare?
Check out the participating companies
Dozens of companies are taking part in the festival, and a list can be found on the same website. Before the festival, think about which companies interest you, visit their websites and check out their internship and job offers. This will give you the opportunity to ask them about any offers that interest you at the festival. During the days of the festival, be active and feel free to contact companies. That's how you get the most out of it!
Review your CV
If you find an interesting internship or job offer at the festival, you can send your CV to the company's contact person. This way, you will be remembered by the company and they can contact you later! So make sure your CV is up to date and memorable!
Create a Worksup profile and explore the platform
The Career Festival will take place virtually on the Worksup platform:
1. Access the event at worksup.com/careerfestival (this link will not be available until February 2022);
2. Fill in the registration form, entering your name, email, study level, faculty and curriculum;
3. Go through authentication. A unique PIN code will be sent to your e-mail to log in;
4. When you enter the event, your profile will already be pre-filled;
5. Learn more about the platform and its features.
Got questions?
1. The festival will feature a wide range of companies and internship offers from different fields. How do I find the one that interests me?
The Worksup platform has a search where you can enter the name of the company or a keyword for the field of activity. For example, if you're interested in a marketing challenge, we suggest you enter "market" in the search to filter out results that include "marketing" as well as "marketer", "marketing specialist", etc.
2. I found an interesting company at the festival. What next?
You can contact the company's representative directly to arrange a meeting (chat or video call). In addition, you can initiate a group chat and invite other students to talk to the company. By contacting a company, you can ask specific questions, receive and share contacts, and make yourself visible. In addition, you can save the company's offers and contacts in your portfolio, so you can take a break after the festival to explore the opportunities on the offer and contact the company later.
3. How can I get to know the topics of my thesis?
You don't need to visit each company individually to see the thesis topics - the Worksup platform has a wall with a collection of thesis topics.
4. How can I take part in workshops?
There is no need to register in advance. We recommend that you follow the timetable and, when you find a workshop that interests you, click on the name of the workshop to join it.
5. I am unable to attend the festival. Is there a possibility to view it later?
Yes, the presentations of the main programme will be recorded and displayed on careerfestival.ut.ee.

EN-ETTEVOTE
Company
Hey, employer! Taking part in the Career Festival is a great way to make yourself visible as an employer and find talents for your company. The advantage of a virtual festival is that there is no physical or time barrier, making it easy to reach thousands of students. Participate and promote yourself as an innovative and student-friendly employer!
What can I do at the Career Festival?
At the Career Festival, you'll have the chance to connect with the talents of the future and get a better insight into young people's expectations. You will also be able to present internship, job and thesis opportunities.
Companies can be seen by students at the expo area. It will display a logo, a photo, a slogan and a description of the company. Slideshows, videos, links, images and pdf files can also be included for students to view. During the festival, it is also possible to participate in a (group)chat or video call with the student(s).
The company can be presented in more detail on the main stage. Presentations can be made live on Delta Centre or via Worksup.
Workshops can be organised to engage and collaborate with students. Through practical advice and exercises, companies will be able to share the knowledge and skills needed to build a successful career path.
How to stand out from the crowd?
With so many companies taking part, it's important to be an attractive employer for students and stand out from the competition.
To do this, we recommend creating a catchy, distinctive slogan and description. These should show what the company is about, what its values are and what makes it a great employer.
An interactive expo stand will also help to get students' attention. It is possible to add media files (e.g. advertisements, promotional videos, slides, etc.). There is also the possibility to organise various quizzes, challenges and lotteries.
In addition, we recommend that you take advantage of the opportunity to have a presentation or a workshop on the main stage. This is a good way to make yourself more visible and to introduce your values as a emplyer.
And finally, we encourage companies to contact interested participants themselves!
Got questions?
1. How can I take part in the festival?
You can indicate your interest through the registration form. There is a fee to participate in the festival, and more detailed fees and options are available on the form.
2. What does the virtual festival look like?
The Career Festival will be held on the Worksup platform in Estonian and English. Similar to the physical festival, students will have the opportunity to move around the festival area, get to know the companies and their offers, and make contacts. One-on-one, group and video chat capabilities are available. The main stage presentations can be made virtually via Worksup or live on-site (our partner Videal is responsible of the production service). Workshops will be organised through Microsoft Teams. The link and further details will be sent by the Festival team to registered companies in February.
3. How to contact students?
Participants, including companies, will be able to see a list of participants, including their name and company or, in the case of students, their field of study. The platform allows keyword searches to find the most suitable contacts. One-to-one and group chats are possible, as well as video chats. Students can add companies of interest to their portfolio and thus save important contacts and information on career opportunities. The company can see how many participants are watching a particular expo and who these participants are. After the event, it will be possible to access information on who downloaded the materials.
4. How can I prepare?
You will be able to start designing your demo area from 14 January - you can upload the necessary materials, texts and contacts. The Worksup team will host a webinar on 14 January to introduce the environment and its possibilities. The webinar will be recorded and will be available to watch.
